How to see old notifications on Android
Go to Settings > Notifications > Notification history and turn it on. After that, notifications you dismissed in the last 24 hours are listed there.

How to do it
Open Settings > Notifications.
Turn Notification history on.
After you dismiss something, come back to Notification history on that same screen to read it.
Turn it on now, while nothing is wrong. The alert you wanted was the one you dismissed before the feature was enabled, and that one is gone.

Can I see notifications from before I turned it on?
No. It only starts recording when you switch it on, which is why it's worth doing now.

About 24 hours.
