How to crop a screenshot on Android

Press Power and Volume down, tap the preview in the corner straight away, and choose Crop. If you miss it, open the screenshot in Google Photos and tap Edit > Crop.

How to do it

  1. Press Power and Volume down together.

  2. Tap the preview thumbnail before it slides away.

  3. Tap Crop, drag the handles, and save.

  4. If the preview is gone, open the image in Google Photos, tap Edit, then Crop.

The preview is easy to miss. Take the screenshot and tap immediately. You can still crop later, but the corner shortcut is the fast path.
