Turn on Reduce motion if the Mac animations bother you

How to do it
Open System Settings > Accessibility.
Click Display.
Turn Reduce motion on.
There is a matching switch on iPhone under Settings > Accessibility > Motion. They are separate. Turning one on does not turn on the other.
