How to do it

1. 01

   Find the version. iPhone: Settings > General > About. Android: Settings > About phone. Windows: Settings > System > About. Mac: Apple menu > About This Mac.

2. 02

   Start the request with that fact. Example: Pixel, Android 16.

3. 03

   Add: If you are not sure the menu still has this name, say so instead of guessing.

4. 04

   Check the first real screen against the answer before you follow the rest.

A wrong path that sounds official is the failure mode. The version line does not make the model perfect. It gives it less room to answer for a different year.
